Unraveling the Sutratma or Silver Cord: The Link Between Body and Soul

What is the Sutratma or Silver Cord?

I hope that you could satisfy many of your curiosities last week. But come on, this week we will talk about the Sutratma. Perhaps this name doesn’t sound familiar to you (unless you’ve read the title, I hope so!) To refresh your memory, I tell you that we also call the Sutratma the “silver cord.”

I’m sure it sounds a little more familiar to you, right? Also, if you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you’ve probably already seen me mention it. After almost six years worth of articles, it is time to write about this subject. Also, I know that some of you were waiting for me to talk about this topic.

The Sutratma of the Silver Cord connects the Soul with the body.

The subject is quite simple, and perhaps that is why it never occurred to me to write an entry on the Sutratma until a few weeks ago. The Silver Cord is the bridge between the physical and the astral. It is what connects our Soul with our physical body. It is the basis and, in most cases, all the knowledge on the subject. However, I bring you this entry to touch on some fun and exciting curiosities.

Many theories talk about how the Silver Cord connects to the physical body. My perception is that this connection happens in two places. One of them is at the back of the head, opposite the forehead, where the Third Eye is. It is also called the “seat of the soul.” However, I feel that, in a way, the energy that allows this connection is in the Eighth Chakra.

The Silver Cord in an Astral Travel.

Here we will touch on the first topic, which is the possibility of seeing the silver cord during an Astral Travel. One question that people ask is whether it is possible to see the Sutratma while traveling. And I can tell you that it is possible to see it. In fact, there are several books on Astral Travel whose authors tell various anecdotes. For example, the author comments that, during one of his astral journeys, he was able to see a large silver cord connected to an “astral dog” looking at him. He observed that this Silver Cord traveled to where the sleeping “physical dog” was.

The author explains that he decided to touch the silver cord, and instantly, the “ghost dog” disappeared, seeing his “physical dog” going to drink water a few moments later.

An automatic mechanism

And this brings us to the next thing, which is the issue of not getting lost in the astral plane. It is a widespread question, and I can tell you that thanks to the Sutratma, it is impossible for this to happen. As you have read, the dog immediately returned to his body as soon as the author touched the dog’s Silver Cord. If, at that moment, the author in his physical body had touched the sleeping dog, his astral body would have vanished as well.

Like this, we can practically travel to infinity without any problem. There are many planes of existence to discover, and we can reach them with a lot of dedication. The Silver Cord can stretch to infinity, so it does not result in a tie or a limit; it is possible to reach all places.

A very peculiar experience from Fernando Albert.

In principle, as I have said, there is no limit on the Astral Plane for the Sutratma. However, I had a very interesting experience:

It was at an ideal time to do an Astral Travel, so I started to induce it. I decided to raise my vibrations a lot to go far. Once ready, and in the Astral Plane, I continued to increase my vibrations until I could see a great light, much more intense than any light we know, but without damaging the eyes. Deciding to go towards that light, I felt a huge shock throughout my body (like electricity), and my ears were ringing.

I had to relax my heart because it was a whole body jump. I returned to the astral again and repeated the same movements. Zap! Again, with a little more intensity. Since you can’t be harmed in Astral Travel, especially with positive vibrations, I decided to go back a third time. This time I did it with even more force, and the energy discharge was enormous, much more intense. However, for a few fractions of a second I could see behind this light like a huge universe all made of light. It is very difficult to explain and it was momentary, but it was a Universe of Light.

And here I decided that I should not explore further.

The next day, I asked my Guides what had happened and they simply told me that I was going to a place where the vibration is even higher than the Silver Cord. Possibly a higher dimension where the Sutratma is totally insignificant.

I think the topic is fascinating, do not you think? But come on, except in cases like this, no problem. You can travel millions of light-years in the Universe, and when you run out of energy, you will return without issues to your physical body to continue with your life here on Earth. It guarantees us to be connected to our physical body until the day of death when it detaches from the physical body.

Seeing the “Thread of Life” from other perspectives.

And now that I mention death, there are a couple of other things that I want to tell you about. These are perhaps a little more difficult, but I have experienced them as a medium, so the information is good to share. I have been able to perceive the Sutratma in different states or situations. One of them is not to go into details during the process of crossing to the other side. There is a moment of peace, as a great silence, and suddenly, there is a tugging in the center of your Heart Chakra. I could perceive this when saying goodbye to one of my cats.

And another complex situation is about observing a person on his deathbed. Perhaps when the person is hours away from crossing to the other side. It is possible to observe that the Sutratma is a bit out of date in these moments. It is as if a little bit of the Silver Cord itself were a little loose. Perhaps, it is complicated to explain, but it is like a warning that this Soul is about to end this current life on the physical plane.

All living beings have a Sutratma.

It is not necessary to explain this when I have already explained the anecdote of the dog in the Astral Plane. All living beings have a Sutratma, which allows them also to be able to manage their body to interact with the physical world. This is also true for plants and other beings, such as quartz crystals, which are capable of connecting with the astral plane from there.
