Let’s meet: The High Priestess – An introduction
The High Priestess is a very significant card when we talk about wisdom and untapped knowledge. One teaching I like very much from the High Priestess is to learn to know how to go properly with the flow, from a very observant, and intuitive point of view, with a great understanding of the bigger picture. From here, you will have the opportunity to discover new things, bringing to you a great learning and understanding of the situation.
When you are connected and aligned, your intuition will grow, and the High Priestess reminds this. One powerful lesson is for you to learn to let go, when you are pushing things too hard, as perhaps, you are going in the wrong direction. You need to stop being stubborn and start to open up more to your spirituality. Sometimes, is about knowing how to go through the proper steps, getting the most out of each one for the best results and maximum experiences.
Upright meanings
Generally, when we approach The High Priestess in an upright position you can interpret it as being properly aligned, and knowing how to flow when it is the right time to do so. Your intuition will guide you in how to do things, and you will feel what is right accurately. You have the opportunity to access new potential knowledge that will enhance your skills, or bring other improvements in your life, and you are positively connected with your feminine side. You also need a reminder to be more connected to spirituality and avoid misdirections such as superstitions.
If you learn how to go with the flow properly, you will meet with a greater alignment in your life. Using your intuition properly, will always guide you to when to just let go and follow or when you need to take action and ensure that things go the right way. You will be able to do this without presumptuous behavior because your intuition comes from a humble stance:
- Love and relationships: When you can communicate properly, learn how and when to listen, as well as know how to give proper advice at the right time, you are properly aligned with an upright energy from the High Priestess. In your romantic or personal relationships, you always know how to rightfully approach the other person. Generally, the High Priestess means that the love relationship has a proper balance in communication, love, and sex where both parts are completely satisfied, almost like a perfect dance together, in complete synchronicity.
- Money and career: When you find yourself properly aligned in your professional life, you are connected to the High Priestess energy. You are possibly an essential part of your company, where you perhaps bring new ideas with the potential to optimize the work. You know how to properly invest your money, always using your intuition, but also having great wisdom by knowing the right time to make big financial decisions. I recommend you to brainstorm if you are aligned this way, it will greatly pay off!
- Health and spirituality: You are maintaining a well-balanced physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. You take good care of yourself, considering your wants, requirements, and restrictions related to your health, always in great alignment and flow. You are perhaps awakening spiritually, coming down with new conclusions and realizations, as well as expanding your wisdom and your spiritual gifts.
I recommend that you expand the energy in your Third Eye chakra and activate its energy to bring a greater flow to the development of your psychic abilities. Most of the time, you already have access to a lot more wisdom, and when you allow it to happen, it happens! Reversed meanings
When the High Priestess is reversed, it means that you are not going with the flow, even if you believe so. You might be presumptuous, acting from your ego as well as imposing your beliefs that are likely to be wrong because you are using your ego. You are losing alignment with yourself, with your Spirituality, and with life in general. Perhaps you became a lot more superficial, acting only from physical stimuli without putting proper thought into it.
Sometimes you might believe you are flowing properly in life while you aren’t. It doesn’t make you a bad person if this is your situation, but you certainly need to make a change. You need to avoid being a superficial presumptuous person and start to be more aligned with the rest of the Universe. Perhaps you have the opportunity to learn something important, but because of fear or other reasons, you hesitate to do so, losing a great opportunity for growth.
- Love and relationships: If you encounter a reversed High Priestess when talking about your love relationship, you need to make a change. You do not allow the relationship to naturally flow into a more solid connection. This usually happens when you are not communicating properly with the other person, and perhaps, you are pushing things in the relationship that you shouldn’t. Are you the difficult one in a group of friends who always says “no” to things that the rest are happy about? Perhaps, you find you have a lot to complain about your friends. Check again, you might be the one causing these blocks, and you need to understand why.
- Money and career: Maybe you are seeking a promotion or professional growth, but you are not meeting with any opportunities. You feel you are stuck at work, and your approach to improve things is not delivering, or others are not cooperating. You are in a reversed High Priestess situation. Now, you should question your motives and ideas, as well as how you are delivering them. If others are causing you a block, you will know, as well as have ideas on what actions to take next.
