The 7 Laws of the Universe: Keep them in mind when deciding.
Hi there! I am delighted that the beginner meditations helped some of you get started to meditate. I’ll create more of these since many of you requested me to do so. We have talked in several articles about the seven laws of the Universe, the Hermetic Principles. Some of you, I am sure, have started applying these in your life, and you all are seeing changes. I want to remind you that it is a constant learning when keeping the seven laws of the Universe in mind, which is mindblowing and amazing.
My idea for this week is that you know the Principles of the Universe well if you don’t already know them, and here are the seven:
- The Principle of Mentalism.
- The Principle of Correspondence.
- The Principle of Vibration.
- The Principle of Polarity.
- The Principle of Rhythm.
- The Principle of Cause and Effect.
- The Principle of Gender.
Don’t be in a hurry to get to know them in-depth, but for today’s post, having an idea of the 7 Laws of the Universe is super necessary.
Ask and reflect before acting.
This is something fundamental that, in principle, we should all know and apply. However, it is not usually done, and decisions are often made hurriedly and with poor results. In fact, I want to leave you this entry about how to face difficulties. But this week, we are going to focus on the asking part. But ask, who? Very simple, to ourselves!
The key is to know a little about the 7 Laws of the Universe, and I will give you a straightforward and easy approach. For this, I will provide you with an example, something familiar and ordinary. Something that everyone, at some point, will come across. This is just an example, but to give you an idea.
Should I start with the additional project?
Let’s imagine that there is an opportunity to solve a new project at work. This is not required of you; in fact, it is an opportunity to earn some extra money and improve your reputation in the company. Considering this and assuming the time and energy available, it seems like an exciting and positive option. However, at this moment, we have many unknowns, the uncertainty is maximum, and we do not know if it is a good idea or not. This is really the most crucial point of reflection, but certainly not the only one, although most people end their reflection here.
Ideally, the next step is to question this opportunity considering the now and how the 7 Laws of the Universe work. I will give you an example to reflect on with each Principle of the Universe. You will discover many more things, so I invite you to try it with a decision, even if it is small. Now let’s do it with the previous example.
Principle of Mentalism.
As we well know, everything is connected, as if it were a great mind. A good question here, for example, would be, “How is starting this opportunity going to affect the rest of my work and other areas of life?” Here, we must reflect from the point of view that everything is mental and it is connected. You have to think about how this new responsibility will flow together with the rest of them that we already have.
Principle of Correspondence.
Everything in the Universe works with patterns; nothing works “by itself.” Everything has an order, and everything has a sequence; really, chance does not exist. Everything is based on experiences and how they connect with each other. Here, this question would be a good one, “How is this new opportunity going to flow in line with the rest of the things already flowing from day to day?” And we could even try to “look a little into the future” and be able to question a little what redundancies and repetitions this new opportunity will bring us and how it fits in with the rest of the redundancies in our lives.
The Principle of Vibration.
As you know, everything in the Universe has a frequency and a vibration. It is not the same to work as a waiter as to work in a factory or to work as a coach. In this case, it is good to understand what vibrations this opportunity brings us and if they are the vibrations we want. One question would be, “How will I feel satisfied with this new opportunity? How will it affect my morale, energy, and principles?” You may approach things with feelings and vibrations unrelated to this opportunity. Or quite the opposite, that this opportunity acts as a positive supplement.
The Principle of Polarity.
Here we have one of the easy ones, which tells us that everything in the Universe has two opposite poles. Therefore, here is more than a question; it is a reflection, such as, “What positive and negative aspects will I attract to my life if I take this new opportunity?” From here, once we get some answers, we should, each of those answers, reflect once again on what positive and negative aspects there are. This is a way of looking to the future and even building (or at least familiarizing yourself beforehand) the road ahead of us.
The Principle of Rhythm.
Here, we talk about fluency and how “the dance” will take everything together and into account. There’s a simple question here: “How is this all going to flow with the rest of the stuff?” But here, you don’t have to go deep but see how everything will fit together. For example, “I have a silly hour in the evening that I could do this,” or “This requires several hours a week, and now I’m spending it meditating.” This way, we will understand a little about our “rhythm of life” and the possible changes this opportunity brings us.
The Principle of Cause and Effect.
This is another simple one, and we have to reflect on the direct results that we could have if we take this option, such as, “What professional results will I obtain if I accept this opportunity?” or for example, “How will it affect this new opportunity to my personal time and rest? Considering the 7 Laws of the Universe, this is easy to reflect on, but spending a little time on it is essential.
The gender principle.
Here we want to focus on what kind of energy it has. Perhaps we can understand that this opportunity will bring us many challenges and opportunities to grow (masculine energy), or to improve our professional and personal life, bringing a little more well-being and peace of mind (feminine energy). So a question here would be, “Will the results of this decision help me grow, or will it give me a stronger foundation?” And obviously, it is essential to know what we want to decide whether to use the available energy.
All this takes time, but it is worth it.
There are decisions that will change our lives forever. Most situations or opportunities create uncertainty; this is part of life on Earth. However, when we learn, little by little, to understand things, we have a more complete picture that helps us choose a path that will not be a mystery. We will be prepared for many situations that would otherwise be a mishap. It allows the energies to flow.
Remember to do this a few times at least to get started, and you will find yourself doing it more and more, navigating life more in sync with everything else.
