Today I want to talk about what is aromatherapy and how you can benefit from it. I am writing this subject since a few of you had some questions about it. To be honest, while I will always choose a natural therapy versus an artificial one, I haven't delved very deep into experiencing myself by simply being attracted to other methods. Get to learn the benefits of aromatherapy, as well as some advice on how to get the most out of it.
I find this holistic healing to align very well with aura cleansing, another holistic healing that should be included in your life. I have seen sessions of aromatherapy that your very deeply with each of your Chakras, bringing a new scent to each one of them that vibrates in a similar frequency to each of the chakras. - Inhalation through diffusers. This is the most common method, mainly because you can even be occupied by other things, and have a satisfactory result meanwhile. I find this to be a very easy method of aromatherapy, cost-effective, and available to everybody.
- Absorption through the skin in massages. As you probably know, the skin is your biggest organ, and thus, it reacts differently in certain situations. Not all essential oils are good for topical application, but you will find in the bottle if the ones you chose are compatible.
- Topical application. Make sure to add a drop or two at your pulse points, for example, your wrist, or your soles of the feet, before sleep time. While you apply, you can always project the intentions and what you want to heal.
- Pillow Spray and Baths. Another classic option is to take a pleasant bath and enjoy different essential salts. By giving yourself this undivided time, you are already making a difference. Another great addition is for you to add some scent to your pillow, for example, lavender, to add a great sleep.
In the end, the scents from aromatherapy will activate different brain receptors promoting a greater balance, and promoting that you have overall better health. There are many, many ways to heal, and to find the ultimate healing state, you want to try as many methods as you can until you find yours.

I have heard great things about aromatherapy, and while I haven't experienced a lot, it was enough to find the potential! You can add aromatherapy and take your practice to the next level, yielding a more profound healing experience for others. Let's check the benefits next, and there are quite a few!
Health Benefits of Aromatherapy
Since ancient times, aromatherapy has been widely used across the entire planet. This has been true since ancient times, and our ancestors already knew about it. From here alone, you can tell that aromatherapy brought a lot more to humanity. I always like to talk more about "potential improvements" when I am talking about essential oils.
Does aromatherapy work? Yes, it does, but remember, it's not a miracle-working, and you still need to get up there by yourself. So now, let's see a few of the health benefits that you enjoy down the line:
- Improved Sleep Quality. Here we have potentially one of the foundational reasons for people to use aromatherapy. We live in a fast-paced society, constantly using electronics and under a lot of stress. Perhaps you don't even have time to sleep anymore, and your busy mind won't allow you to fall asleep fast. This is not good, but you can change it by finding an exclusive aromatic oil and with a proper oil diffuser.
- Strengthening the Immune System. I find this to be another strong benefit of aromatherapy, empowering your immune response and the capability of your body to make more proper antibodies that will prevent illnesses with great ease. When you are relaxed, your body starts to produce everything you need, getting itself ready for everything down the line. You will find yourself with better energy and trust your body more.
- Enhances energy levels. When you use aromatherapy, you activate your chakras, and when you activate your Chakras, you have more energy available to you, and from here, you will find yourself more grounded, as everything is clear, and feeling confident in anything that comes your way.
You can also find essential oils that will yield to certain intentions, for example, Sandalwood Oil is used a lot to promote spiritual peace and awakening. The reason is because is that aromatherapy can trigger powerful receptors as well as energetic centers, major and smaller Chakras.

A great and powerful aromatherapy use is both Palo Santo Oil and White Sage Oil, although you may work with the plant matter directly and simply burn it. These are quite common, and maybe you are already using this in your day-to-day life. If you don't, what are you waiting for? You will massively increase the vibration of where you are.
Aromatherapy Oils: How to Use
Using essential oils is probably the easiest and most effective approach, but it is important to take some precautions. Maybe you are wondering: Are aromatherapy oils safe? I can assure you they are, but you need to apply them properly. For example, not all essential oils are good for the skin, and they can irritate. You will know this before purchasing any essential oil.
Also, keep in mind which oils you choose to use and how you use them. For example, eucalyptus oil is fantastic for respiratory relief, but you shouldn't be breathing it directly (or any oil) because you can also irritate your lungs. For this reason, there are some humidifiers or air misters that you can add a drop or two of essential oil to reap its benefits.
You can even opt for mixing different oils. If you become a fan of the subject, you can learn a lot by combining different essential oils for aromatherapy and building your mix. I know some people who even made the oil from scratch, and the results are amazing. Don't worry, you don't need to become an expert to experience aromatherapy's benefits.
