While tarot and crystals go together beautifully, they can and do work individually as well. I personally feel that crystals enhance and support the energy from the cards, especially if you build grids, etc.
If you use tarot and crystals, you will notice that together they have a lot more energy, almost like feeling things warmer and with more intensity, and the information or intentions arrive with greater vibrations.
